Only once a year does LA have two international art fairs, and they both occur the same weekend in January (1/26-1/27), and only 4 miles apart in Santa Monica. The LA Art Fair at the Barker Hanger (see below) is for historical, modern and contemporary art, plus prints this year. The Art LA Fair at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium (at Pico and Main Sts) is for contemporary art. Anyone interested in a group for Saturday, 1/26/2008, starting at the Art LA show? If so, then form a car pool with SCA members and friends from your area of Orange Co. (Note: about $20 entry for each). Lunch and coffees available at each place.
